I can only speak from my personal experiences as a parent. This school is absolutely horrible. I gave the school two stars just because the school looks nice, the class rooms are large, and a select few of SMS staff seem to want to help kids. I witnessed on multiple occasions teachers yelling and

The Principal can be hard to get a hold of, but the ghetto vice principal is always around. There are fights practically everyday either at school or at the bus stops. * In 2007-2008 Georgia administered the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) in reading, English language arts and math in grades 1 through 8 and in science and social studies in grades 3 through 8. The CRCT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Georgia. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
