Mt. Vernon Christian School was one of the most unorganized 'circuses' I have ever seen in my life during the 2007-2008 year. The headmaster was socially unacceptable, and he was very unprofessional. He did not even introduce himself at the awards banquets, or greet the parents who are spending their

Vernon has not always been this rediculously unorganized, it has really been just recently (2007-2008) since it has truly deteriorated. The high school had 3 amazing teachers this past year, but the rest of them do not even have any business teaching pre-schoolers. The elementary is exeptional, but the high school is rediculous. There are no electives, no college counselors, graduation coaches or mentors. My child is senior this year, and she is definitely not prepared for her freshman year in college. Read less

We lost both school principles this year, and several great teachers are leaving also. I really wonder sometimes if they are trying to run this great school into the ground with all the changes they are trying to make. Hey, Mount Vernon Baptist Church, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
