The teachers are a bit strict in this school. The specials (extra-curricular) are a bit on the down side. Mostly, you will only get bullied if you are one or to people seem like a 'loser.'

The school is wonderful and I love it here. I have been here since the begining. I never ever think that any school could be better. My favorite class is media because I have a peaceful time reading books. My favorite subject is science because I learn so many interesting things.

My child seems to enjoy learning at St. Frances. The school always keeps us informed with her grades and how she is doing- I can access her grades each week on the computer. I like the special activites they offer after-school to create a well-rounded educational experience.

My daughter has been at St. Frances since she was in the Parents Morning Out Program (8 years). ... Read more to offer personalized attention. Parents feel welcome and are very involved. Our principals have done a superior job dealing with 21st century challenges in education. As an educator myself, I am completely happy with SFCCS and so is my daughter. Our dual accrediation process with SACS and the FCC will be completed at the end of this month and was delayed only because our growth was not complete. Now that 8th grade has been added, we can concentrate on continued excellence. Read less

SFCCS now has K-8 and 2009 has our first 8th grade graduation. I was disappointed to see the negative review posted Nov 2008 only because it was written 4 years after they took their child/children from the school. I have children at SFCCS since 2002 & have no issues. The teachers have been great
... Read more so far. I choose this school not only as it's my parish but also because of its size and its academics. I wanted the small classes / community feel. The teachers know all the children. I haven't had an issue with the principal in all my years there but we do have a new principal this year & she is wonderful. She is totally committed to the children & staff & she brings a fresh new approach while keeping that community / family feel. The academics are above std & my son is 90+ in all subjects. Read less

We pulled our children out four years ago and are very happy at the Cath. school they now attend. We tried everything before we left Cabrini from talking to teachers, the principal and even the priest. We even had a meeting with the superintendent of Cath. schools - all to no avail. We left because
... Read more of low academic standards, no discipline (my child was getting bullied everyday) and no leadership. The year we left several families left. The one thing we all had in common was that one or both parents were teachers. We all knew what it was to be in a well run school. At the time, Cabrini was not. Since we left, the school has hired a new principal. Maybe she will provide the much needed leadership the school desperately needs. I hope so. I'm a parent of a child who attends Cabrini. We have been in the Cabrini family for 5 years. We will stay. We are very pleased. I know most of the parents of the children who have left Cabrini, they will not be happy anywhere. Our family believes in fixing a problem, not leaving and then complaining

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
