Bartlett is at its worst this year. I have never seen a school where you cannot get in touch with the teachers. Everytime I call to speak to my childs teachers I have to leave a message. This year there is yet another new principal and she seems to be very stanfoffish and rude just like the sacastic secretary. I wish the superintendent will do something about this school. It is awful and I think most of the teachers will do much better at a school with a more stable Administration. Read less

My experiences at Bartlett, are both good and fair, but not bad. My son did learn, but I wasn't advised when he was failing either. I looked at the weekly progress reports, but they really didn't tell me much. I think it's because of the computer system they use doesn't update the grades weekly. I requested

My son has never made racist jokes or anything until we came to Bartlett. He hates it so bad I had to send him to therapy. He's a smart, well-adjusted kid.... and he's miserable. The teachers in this school are rude. I have to send my son there because we are in there district. I really think that a lot of the teachers at Bartlett don't have the heart to be a teacher. I believe that you have to enjoy what you do and I don't see that from many of the teachers that are here. * In 2007-2008 Georgia administered the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) in reading, English language arts and math in grades 1 through 8 and in science and social studies in grades 3 through 8. The CRCT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Georgia. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
