I switched to Unity in 2007. I have a 2nd grader and a pre-k student there now. I was greatly impressed with the academic level when I made the switch. My daughter who is extremely bright has been very challenged. She came from a nationally top rated private school and had quite an adjustment 'keeping
... Read more up' the first few months. She has exceeded beyond her level and is in a very warm environment. Untiy is christian...but, it offers so much more than just that. You have to be here to believe it! We still have lots of growth in the administration and I do wish that the staff would dress more professionally....but, I would not return to the other school. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
Gifted and Talented
