Our children have grown up at CBMS beginning at the age of 2 1/2. It was an amazing start relative to the more traditional 'day care' and they have continued to thrive. The Montessori method of teaching and learning is unique; focused on developing the child - not just academics. CBMS stays true to

I've worked at two other Montessori schools, and have visited several others. I am one of the 'new' teachers in the turnover referred to in previous reviews. Above all, CBMS is the best place I have ever worked. The staff and families are truly a community. 'It takes a village to raise a child,' and

In my experience of over a year at CBMS, I was immediately accepted as a valuable and appreciated member of the community. I have not encountered the mean spirited gossip, poor leadership and unfair treatment I have witnessed at other schools. We are truly a family here. I moved 800 miles to work at CBMS, and it was well worth it. Read less

I completely agree with the 2 most recent posts about the 'CBMS' experience; it WAS AWFUL! This quote 'school' is very 'clicky', they determine who/what/where and how it should be handled according to them...not you who is paying for their salaries. The statement about the changes in administration and teachers is true unfortunately. In two years, CBMS has lost nearly twenty teachers, assistants, and administrators. Every year promises to be the best because they claim they have weeded out the 'bad ones.' The school has lost many of their students,

They have unfairly fired teachers in the middle of the school year that has left students with having to get used to another person in the community. They have picked and chosen what students receive the most academic instruction and what students do not. Their 6-12 classroom had issues of bullying and threats. Even staff members bullied and argued with each other. It was a very negative experience for my children and myself. What a waste of money Read less

My Children attended CBMS for 4 years and loved their experience very much; however, I can personally attest that in our 4 years with CBMS, we had over 6 teachers, and complete change in administration.
