On a more positive note, I can say that for 3 of the past 5 years, my child has had teachers that went WAY beyond the call of duty regarding personal attention to ensure that learning and development are the mainstay of the curriculum. Academic programs are good. The availability of extracurricular activities are almost not existent for a child with working parents. The school does not have a PTO that is available for working parents.

Great qualities include the personal relationships administration and the teachers have with the families who attend Moreland. However, if you desire a challenging and stimulating curriculum, high expectations for teachers and a desire to increase student achievement, you have come to the wrong place.

Moreland Elementary is the best school all around. My daughter attends Moreland Elementary, her teachers are caring and truly love the children. Advanced Placement
