I am a 2003 graduate from Northeast and I agree with most of the comments. Although some of the teachers acted like the students and were only focused on how well you can catch a football or how many miles you could sprint, a few were really dedicated to the learning experience. The focus is in the

I think that the principal has done a good job with discipline, but since that and sports is the main focus it really shows in the attendance and the test scores. I love my Alma Mater, but there are major improvements that need to be made. Read less

I'm a former student of NEHS c/o 04! This school isn't extremely great nor is it bad. Some of the teachers are very good but are overlooked, while other teachers are acting more like students than teachers. They have a lot of school spirit but I felt that their priority was more about the athletics

I am a student at NEHS c/o 06 and after transfering there from another state i don't feel this is a school where you will get the most out of your education. In my own opinion I don't feel that my education or my well being as a student has been top priority.Contrary to what is said from the faculty

I find the comments of recent graduates of Northeast High School unfounded as the test scores at this school have steadily declined over the last 4 years. The number of graduates 'not' receiving true diplomas have also increased, hence the Science magnet School is not meeting the goals requisite to the

A real disconnect exists between the administration, the teachers and parents, as many of the very good teachers have since left NEHS and have distinguished themselves under other administrations. Successes in test scores, Science Fair and related competitions,including Golden Eagle awards are at a minimum. NEHS has lost its stature among Bibb County and Middle GA High Schools. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
