I agree with the last comment, I have three children and the two oldest (who used to love school) dread school and are not mitivated to learn at all. My youngest is going to kindedrgarten this year and I hope that the same doesn't happen to her because she is so excited about school and she loved preK.

Skyview used to be the best elementary school in Bibb. I realized that after the new principal joined our school, CRCT scores dropped, and teachers and staffs are not excited about their school anymore(but we still have the best PTO!) But our family cannot afford to move just to change our child's

Stop complaining about small stuff and blaming everythign on school. Remember, your child is in the public school. If you want some fancy 'services' for your child, move him/her to the private school(well, IF you can afford). You get what you pay for. 2. Help your child's teachers. Ask them what they need. Skyview was a wonderful place for my children until last year when they named a new principal. Now it is horrible. Thank goodness my son is in 5th grade and will move on to middle school. The new principal has taken all of the joy out of the school. I feel so sorry for the teachers that have to work

Skyview celebrates success, they reward students for showing good character, for example, finding money and returning it, cleaning up a mess they didn't create, helping others without being asked. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
