This is my daughter second year at AOL (hence second year). I'm very pleased with the results from last year and so far this year, as she continues to improve academically. I'm very pleased with my daughter's teachers. Although there has been a change in the front office with a new principal, the impact

There is no need to complain if you're not spending time to get the know the staff and school. I was so glad to hear that the school will possibly be adding (have been approved too) 8th grade the next school year. This means I don't have to worry about sending my child to a good performing school for another 2 years. Read less

I am a parent and have a son who is now in the first grade. I've read the past 10 reviews and was a little surprised. My son has grown so much academically that I think the school must be doing something right among all the negative comments. My husband and I are very invovled with my son academics.

My daughter went to AOL her 2nd and 3rd grade year. Her teachers were great once they saw how involved I was going to be with her education. In the beginning it seemed to be difficult but once they see that you are going to be involved and care about your child's education they seem to step it up.

The new principal that started 07 school year as well as her office staff are very rude to put it nicely. They don't seem to want to be there or like their jobs. They definitely need to be replaced. The teacher turnover rate is high which means something is wrong on a higher level. But overall my daughter has loved her teachers, maintained A's and B's, wants to go back but I Read less

My son just finished 7th grade at this school. It was a horrible year! His 'classroom' was a trailer, more teachers were fired than we could count, not a single field trip, no sports teams, and a pathetic administration. Don't make the same mistake by sending your child here.

I am both a teacher at AOL and a parent of a student there. I am very pleased with the academic progress of my child, but I am very disappointed with the school's leadership. The new principal never speaks to the students in a friendly tone. She doesn't welcome her staff and students in the morning

I thought I was the only parent who had experienced disgusting service from this school until I read some of the other comments here. We had signs from the beginning, especially during registration. The administration is very rude and speaks down to the parents. The school smelled and wasn't clean, so
