Indeed, this school is solely focuses on raising robots. Giften children are not only ignored here, but they are refused to skip a grade in the absence of any type of gifted program. In addition to that, the administration keeps an open door policy, both the principal and assistant principal are totally approachable and available at all times. I have three children of varying abilities and all have suceeded to the best of their abilities. Third grade was the toughest year, but k-2 and 4-5 were wonderful. I'm sure middle school will be great too.

... Read more to just not care about my request, but managed to assign an overwhelming load of easy, but time-consuming homework for everyone. Also, the push to attend St. Pius High School borders on obsessive and provides an unhealthy emotional atmosphere for those who do not planning to attend St. Pius. I would not recommend middle school here if you plan to send your child to public school. Not only because of the focus on St. Pius, but also, the lack of advanced academics and extracirriculars such as orchestra, band and chorus. Read less

I just recently graduated from SJN and have found my experiences there dull and almost painful. The homework load in middle school makes you want to cringe (2-3 hours a night) and the problem of bullying is not handled in the manner that it should be. People in my class would do the most horrible things

The after school activities offered at SJN are minimal and end up being pointless due to lack of concern from the faculty and staff. The Vice Principal is obsessive compulsive over the uniform, handing out detentions for the slightest flaw while people get away with fist fights. The teachers are for the most part very helpful but a lot of them seem to pick favorites. They also seem to have no concern for what parents have to say and will not comply with any suggestions parents may have. Overall SJN has been a tough school to go through and I hope none of your children will have to deal with the problems I faced at this school. Read less

My student has been at this school for several years. The discipline is in no way swift. It took 8 years to get a child who had been bullying everyone expelled. Parents spoke with the administration countless times. It was almost pathetic. The teachers although are great but tend to assign a little to

In my experences at St. John Neummann I found it to be excessivelly boring and strict. There is a new vice principal who does not know where to draw the line. I have also noticed that the principal is very unattentive to the students, I went to St. John Neumann for three or four years he worked there

The teachers are excellent and underappreciated, but due to the adminstrations the teachers excellents skills are brought down by rediculous scrutinization of their lesson plans. Overall this enviroment will not teach your children the skill they need and it is not a healthy enviroment to put them in. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
