One of a kind school, one of a kind education. Branch offers Specific specialized education for children who would otherwise fall in the cracks. ... Read more way ahead. We have a son who thought so quickly it was hard for him to express what he knew, so he was labeled with a Processing Delay and placed in Special Education with an IEP. That is how we found Branch. They have recognized our sons advanced intelligence and give him time to process it out. Since he has been there (just this year) he has accelerated and loves school more than ever! What can we say, Branch is a real blessing! The academics or curriculum has changed over the past two years, as the school adjusted and found a curriculum that would support a preparatory College bound track not only locally, but also nationally. The Branch Teaching method additionally uses a multi-strategic approach supporting all learning styles. And above all, this school cares. The students would never go without a lunch if parents forget, there's plently of supplies in every room, from pencils to art paper and clay. We just love it! Read less

I have worked in other schools with other principals and I have never been so happy or seen as much actually done for the students as in this school! As busy as she is, she has lead and directed our theatre arts programs for the past 22 years, she writes special academic programs as needed for individual students, and supports all the teachers with encouragement and direction. Our classrooms are full of great equipment, and our supplies for teaching never fall short. ... Read more husband is a detective for Dekalb County and a real hard sell. He has the means and the skills to really 'detect' everything about a school. My daughter loves her school. Her reading and language schools are wonderful. They are very concerned about the children and the PIE meetings are very informative to all parents, in my oppinion. The staff is excellent! Read less
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
