My complaints about LHS could fill quite a few pages; however, I have heard many good things about the new adminstration. Having put 3 children through Lafayette, we decided to home school our fourth child. He excelled, but he asked to attend LHS his senior year. LaFayette has a near 50% dropout rate. The teaching situation is not good, many of the teacher s just come to do a job,they do it and they go home. Quality education

The teacher s at LaFayette could do much more to affect the dropout and education rates. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
