This school is great! I am a parent of a Pre-K student who will be going to kindergarten this year. The teachers are very enthusiastic and the energy in the building is exciting. I haven't had many dealings with the administration although they seem welcoming and friendly.

My friend told me about this site and I was also shocked at the comments about the principal. I have dealt with her several times regarding teachers and she has been fair and friendly. The teachers are fantastic! Especially Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Lauritsen, and Mr. Payne!! I recommend this school to anyone

I was shocked to see some of the negative comments about the principal on this site. Although she may come across as being very direct, she has a job to do and she will not be able to please everyone. If you look at the past school successes (Governor's Platinum and Bronze Awards and the CRCT scores)

I have noticed a lack of support for the special needs classroom and its teachers from most of the regular educational teachers, especially the MAE principal. This school has been great and even with a few bumps along the way, things do get resolved. The principal is ready, willing, and available to help with any issues we've had. I appreciate that in a school. My child has always been welcomed after our move and we've had a great experience thus far.

I have a son in kindergarten and I love this school. They work very hard to learn students' names and make them feel at home. There is a very cheerful, energetic feeling in the building and my son loves to go to school. When he has to miss school because he is sick, he mopes all day.

My sons have attended Matt Arthur for 5 years and have had wonderful, caring teachers. The staff that greats us each morning on the car rider ramp know my chilren by name. The only downside to this school, and unfortunately it is a rather large one, is the principal. She appears to be out to prove something
