I have to agree with the last reviewer. The new adminstration has done wonders for WCHS. As a teacher, I can't say enough good things about our adminstrators. The teachers are doing their jobs and the students are getting the support they need. It is a great place to work and a great place to send

I noticed there has been only one parent review in the past several years. This school has improved dramatically in the past two years. A new administrative team came on board last year and identified the problems of the past and actually ran the school as it should have been run in the past. Our school

There are numerous AP courses, sports of most kinds, and enough clubs and extracurricular activities to involve anyone who wishes to get involved. We already have more teachers with advanced degrees than the state average, and a large percentage of teachers pursuing advanced degrees. The teachers and administration at WCHS actually do care about the students. The incidents of fights and other disruptive behaviors have decreased in the last two school years. The school is great! I agree with the most of what the above people said about the school. I'm attending the school now, and there are many things that I do disagree with, but all in all I know deep down that the rules are for the best. This year ( 2005-2006 ) is really different from previous year due to the new prinipal.
... Read more The administrative office has really ened up compared to before, especially about shirt tails. Asst. Principal Gladwin Harper is a really understanding guy that will listen to your side of the story and take a great outlook on everything that may be going on in a given situation. However there is another asst. principal that is just the opposite. I'm not going to expose the name , but she really doesnt listen, and can be fooled and misled easily. Overall this is a very great school system to be involved with. Read less

Some people may not agree with some decisions that Mr. Rowland made but he could not change one rule for one particular person when he has to look out for the well-being of the whole school. I'm not saying that

My son attended this school for 4 years. The teachers there are some of the best educators in the nation. They consistently go above and beyond to help students in many different ways. They are caring, dedicated professionals. The administrative staff however, is seriously lacking.
