My daughter attends Gray Elementary School. She is in kindergarten. Mrs. Deloach and Mrs. Hayes are wonderful. She did not like the pre-k before she went to GEM, but all of the teachers, Mr. Patterson, Mrs. Pitts, have all of the kids best interest. Mr. Patterson is always walking around to make sure
... Read more everything is okay. I saw Mrs. Jacobs, the Asst. Principal help a parent, whose SUV had stalled while trying to pick up her child. Mrs. Jacobs, along with another parent, pushed the car to the side where the other parents could get by to pick up their children. I have not seen any woman push a vehicle the way she did. I love all of the people at GEM and so does my daughter. Everything revolves around the children. The even have a little fish pond for the children. I could not ask for a better school. Read less

... Read more GES as a parent. Not only am I a parent, but a teacher at GES as well. The teachers and principals at GES always have the students' best interest at heart. The curriculum is always changing and kindergarten sure isn't what it was when I was in school. Every grade is getting a little more difficult. I am glad my child is in such great hands! Read less

I have 2 children who currently attend Gray Elementary and 1 who has in the past. Gray Elementary is a great school with great teachers, staff and a wonderful principal. The students, teachers, staff, principal and parents are highly involved in the school and there are many special activities offered

There has never been a activity at the school that I have attended in which the entire parking lot and lunchroom were not packed full of parents! The school spirit is abundant and the children are eagerly involved. Discipline is fair and the principal, Mr. Patterson, is a great role model. He does not merely deliver punishment. Instead he provides effective solutions, understanding, encouragement and positive reinforcement. The staff is very friendly, helpful and positive. Advanced Placement
