I am a student of HCCHS. From what I've seen, this is one of the best schools I've ever been associated with. Both socially and education-wise, this school is highly recommended. I transferred to this school about 3 years ago (I'm now a Senior) from a local school in The LaGrange area. At that school,

The teachers are good they do care, when they see a student that needs help they give it. Their might be one that doesn't but I have not ran into one. The coaches will look at the players grade and will bench that player if his/her grades are below what they should be. They give the player a few weeks

As a former student, I have to say this school is about average. This school is all about what your name is. And if you need help, Well, You might as well go get outside help, becuase afterall, no one will help you. The attendance staff is unfair to all students. And the Principal is to busy to attend

The extracurricular activites are great and worthwhile, but you won't be able to get on the team, unless you are a favorite of the coach. HCCHS is like any other highschool. Not reccomended, but necessary to be succesfull. Read less

I'm a student at Heard High. And its good somewhat, but a lot of tachers don't care and some do. As a 2004 graduate of Heard County High School, I am extremely proud of the education that I received. They prepared me for the real-world. Heard County High School is trying so hard to be like a military academy. They are so intent on punishing and harassing the students that are trying, and have decent grades. The majority of the teachers there are there to make a check and could care less about the students. I would not recommend this

My other 2 children have good academic grades and are constantly telling me about how the staff harasses them, and then when I call to talk to the board of education, it is strange how quick there is retaliation the following day. I am checking into homeschooling or private schooling for them. They are getting cheated out of education. No Child left behind? What a joke. Read less

Hi, my name is Leigh. I am 15 years old and currently attend Heard High. I am PROUD to say that this is my school. The teachers do educate and I must say that a few of the reviews I just read are not true. Yes, our school has discipline, but that leads to a great education. We wouldn't have so much discipline
... Read more problems if the children would be disciplined at home. I have learned a lot in my years at HHS. I would say that 90% of the students go on to college and get a secondary education.
