I had one child who went to this school and one child slated to go next year. I am seriously considering moving so we will be in another school district. ... Read more had been set up. I felt the assistant principal had been abrupt and rude in an earlier meeting. She emailed back that she would be glad to attend and looked forward to meeting me. This after I had been answering the phone in her front office as a volunteer for about 5 months, she had no idea who I was. She did not show up at the meeting. If you are moving to Fayetteville for the schools I would urge you to consider a residence in Whitewater or Bennett's Mill area instead. Read less

I was very pleased with Fayette Middle School, my child attended for 2 years and did very well and had some incredible teachers that helped him thrive. This school gets a bad rap way too often without just cause, many of the other parents I spoke with agree that the school is great!

I am disappointed with this school. I recently moved to Georgia and was told that Fayette had one of the best school systems. I found that not to be true with this school. I have never known someone to learn foreign language properly during one 9-week period. There are only a few teachers that I have found to be helpful. They have one of the finest band programs, the best English teacher (Dr. Franklin), and the administration runs a tight ship. Be involved as parents and support the FMS teachers and your experience will be great!! Advanced Placement

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
