Chapel Hill is an outstanding school. A parent stated earlier that test scores are decreasing. That is not true. Test scores are increasing. Teachers care about student achievement and the discipline is great at Chapel Hill Middle. I highly reccommend this school!

Everytime I schedule a conference to work things out, I get a note or a phone call with some reason to why a conference would not be a good idea. I could really make this a very long post as to why I do not recommend this school district. I have been going to this school for two years and I am currently enrolled here. The staff is supportive and helpful in the academic field, and the sports department is amazing. My problem with this school is the students. Though they may be smart and physically fit, many need a new attitude. They teachers
... Read more and staff seem to not realize the fact that kids are being extremely stuck-up and rude towards those who don't have as much money. They are obsessive over name brands, and they feel the needs to brag about it. I think this school is in serious need of uniforms. Though they will probably be ugly (yeah I said it), many of the students grades may come up because they no longer have to worry everyday when they go to school what the other kids are going to say about their clothes. My son spent 3 years at this school. We were very pleased with the principal, teachers and the academics provided. The only thing that bothered me was the strong focus on the 'athletics', to the point of making the kids who were not on athletic teams 'second class'. I would like to see more emphasis

Advanced Placement
