Fall 2006 is my son's first year at Towers High School. As such, my comments might not be comprehensive. However, I believe the overall quality of Towers' academic programs is evident in the following points (notwithstanding Assessment scores): * Grammar usage in comments by former/current students

Regarding the second bullet, it's appalling to witness students use profane language towards Security Guards, faculty, and staff. Also during class-schedule changes, faculty and staff inform male students to tuck their shirts in their pants, but only about 15% of those students adhere. The principal appears to be genuine, but I perceive an undertone of frustration of being in a position where he can't affect positive change. My perception is based on the principal's comments about apparent parent apathy. Read less

I am deeply concerned about the negative impact that renovation efforts that are currently underway may have at Towers High School.
