Our daughter (almost 3 yrs.) was placed in the N. Decatur location. At first she and we loved it, but as weeks went by, it was very obvious to us that the dynamics in the classroom for our daughter were not a great fit. She picked up numerous negative attitudes from the older children, became very self

She thrived very much on the materials, but the social aspect of the classroom proved to be draining on her. She was also never very comfortable with her teacher- who was quite dry. One of the best qualities of this school is that children teach themselves through experience or study. They are not foced to learn but develop their own need to for knowledge. Also, we have end of year trips to Coasta Rica and Boston. We (the students) are in charge of ourselves. It's great how we're so independent and don't have to sit in desks everyday. We can socialize!!!! And learn at the same time! Read less
