Most of the staff seems to break the self esteem of small children instead of praising them and going that extra mile to make sure they learn on the current level. I am very proud to say my child attends Dawnville Elementary. The teachers have exceeded my expectations. I have witnessed first hand the dedication they have to their children. Many of the students come to DES knowing little or no Enlish. By the end of the school year they are reading, writing & speaking

Maybe they did not excel on a standardized test, but they did make progress. I am proud of our students & their accomplishments. If you are considering Dawnville, you will not be disappointed. In 2004 I graduated 5th grade at Dawnville and I will never forget that school. The teachers were great and I couldnt have asked for a better school. I hope other students feel the same way now and when they must leave. In my opinion no school is better!
