Our daughter attends HJMS and loves it!!! She is very involved and takes pride in her school. Alot of people think because the school is old that its bad. Not true! All middle schools aren't great. Because middle school children are trying to find them selves and get the first dose of peer pressure.

I love HJMS! My second child is now enrolled in Jones and I wouldn't put her anywhere else. My son went there for three years and the quality is just as great today as it was then. Others have commented on the school being run down and old and at one time it was the ONLY middle school in Paulding.

I love all of the teachers at HJMS and the students will tell you how much their teachers care about them. Don't judge a book by its cover....HJMS is a GREAT school! Go Tigers! Read less

Herschel Jones Middle school is a great school to go to. If I had a choose I would go to it. The teachers care about their students, but the can be mean but only because they care is why they are strict. I would give any thing to stay at their after this year but I most go on to high school.

Herschel Jones has been a wonderful school. It may seem small, 'run down' or whatever, but overall, it teaches so much for your future. The teachers there actually care about the students. The band program is a really good one, as is the old (2000-2004) Venture program. (They have a new teacher now I

Coming from Atlanta, I would have to say that the conditions of this school are horrific! This particular school is entirely too small. The CRCT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Georgia.
