No, but they did rank 371st on Nesweek's recent list of top 1500 high schools in the nation, making the list for the third year in a row. Forsyth County also had the highest avg ACT scores (2008/09) for high school districts in Georgia, with South Forsyth HS leading the group. Read less

We love this high school. Coming from California we didn't know what to expect. I would rate east bay San Francisco 5 and south forsyth a 9 out of 10. The teachers are extremely accomodating all having much more than just a teaching certificate many with bachelor and master and doctorate degrees.

As a parent of a past and current HS student, I feel the school could do more for the students with IEP's with tutoring like having a tutoring labs for the students. It is nice they have IB or AP curriculums but IEP student [need] more special help.

Unfortunately I have a very negative experience at SFHS. I am convinced that the administrators are not looking after a child best interest in this school. The children do not get individual attention and consideration.

SFHS is a great football team with a curriculum attached to it. As you might expect here in the 3rd fastest growing county in America (!), the school is overcrowded like a New York subway car on Monday morning. That is not the school's fault. IMO, the curriculum is good - you could even consider it

My daughter graduated from SFHS last year. She was in the honors program and took many challenging courses. For the most part, her teachers were professional and highly motivating. She was involved in many extra curricular activities and enjoyed the diversity of her classmates. She scored well on

... Read more people and I find that quite unique. Allthough SFHS is a public school, uniqueness isn't much of a factor. The teachers are marginal at best, just above par in my opinion. Nothing unusual happens, nothing out of the ordinary, just plain straight-from-the-book teaching. Advanced Placement
