I am an alumni from Pinecrest Academy and if there is one thing that I can say about this school, it would be about how great it is and how tough it was to leave there. I made friends there that I will never forget and always have. I currently attend a Univeristy out of state with two of my best friends

Statistics don't lie and I can tell you that it will not do anything but help your child both socially and academically. One of my best friends that I go to school with now is a girl from my high school. I have had at least one child at Pinecrest since 1999. It has been a wonderful experiance for me and my children. The one problem I have encountered is the weak math instruction in High School. Having said that the teachers and administration are great. They are not just concerened about test scores,

The role of the formation team is very important to the childrens overall development and these men and woman are a fabulous resource for my children. we arrived at the school 6 months ago and we are profoundly impressed with Pinecrest academy. The atmosphere is so healthy, the faith so concrete and lived, and the academic and human formation standards unusual in today's world, but a great environment for our children to grow in.

We had a 9th and 8th grade boys and two 1st graders. We were so displeased with the way problems and issues (that my children had) were addressed that half way through the school year we pulled them out! That's 4 kids tuition for 1/2 a year at about $10,000.00 per kid per year, down the toilet! Because

Read more you are held to your end of the deal financially but the school does not seem to have to live up to the standards that they write about in their mission statement, etc. Christians beware, I found no Christ like attitude when asking for our tuition reimbursement for the months we were not there!!! My daughter is in middle school at Pinecrest. The academics are strong but the fine arts program is very weak. No drama or chorus. The school is on overload with religion from class to field trips to clubs to retreats and conventions. Middle school did put on a drama play for the 1st time and it was

... Read more very low. Most of the teachers have been there forever. Parental involvement is high. The religious aspect of the school has been the best surprise as well as the most comforting. Unlike public school, Jesus has actually been invited to the school and is not a dirty word. If I was able to improve on anything, it would be to decrease tuition. Tuition gets higher every year unfortunately! I agree that if you are not a strong Christian, Pinecrest is not for you. These people actually try and live their faith! Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
