I am not pleased with this school at all. My children transfered from Ficquett and they were great. The teachers here are not as outgoing (as they should be with the younger children) and they also have no other activities to do. The teachers act like they don't care if the kids are happy. I am not
... Read more the only one that thinks that. I also know that a friend of our transfered to another school and her child has always been at the top of her class and now she is having to play catch up because RP is way behind them. So I don't think that they push the kids enough. Read less

My daughter has been with Rocky Plains since she was 3 (Mar. '08). She is in the Special Needs Pre K class with Ms. Kinney. She has Downs. In only seven months, I have seen a tremendous improvement! She was testing over 12 months in delay and now tests only at an 8 month delay. The team at Rocky

I am from a different state and the school my kids were attending was far more productive.I am very displeased with the kids actions that attend this school as well. They act as if they have no home training...my kids come home and tell me about the horrible things they heard other kids say. The teachers

I've had a very good experience with Rocky Plains. My son has been there since they opened 3 yrs. ago. The 3 teachers he has had have been excellent, I only hope it continues. I will say it is big for kids that age. Not sure of the total number of students this year, but again the school is 3yrs. old

I love this school!! My children are going to have to go to another school this upcoming year due to us moving and I am very upset about. I dont want them to miss out on the great teaching that I know Rocky Plains will give them.

My kids and I moved from Decatur, Ga and its very quiet and calm down here in Covington. The school and teachers are more caring. The only thing is that Rainbow Elementary, the school they transferred from had sports (football team) for the kids to participate in. I think we the parents should try
... Read more to get that going here at Rocky Plains and the school will be perfect then. It will give the kids something to do plus its nothing like watching your child out on the field. My boys love the school and the classrooms. Their grades even show the improvement. It could be the environment also. As far as I can see, the school is big, clean, and great. We just need a football team/sports like the other schools have to make the school complete. Read less

Advanced Placement
