I am a parent of Livingston. My children have had a successful year and are in the gifted program there. Most of the teachers really seem to care about students. I feel that this school has many fine qualities. My sons teachers have all been very supportive to both us as parents and to our son. As with any school parents and children will not have a good experience if we as parents are not involved with the children and the school. I like that Livingston has

As a room parent for several years, I do have to say that parent involvement could be more, but there always seems to be enough willing parents and teachers to make up the difference. This is such a critical time in our children's education, and I cannot imagine my daughter being anywhere else at this point in her life. Read less

I have two girls in this school. One is about to move forward to middle school and the other one has another year to go. I have noticed a great improvement in their school work, grades, attitudes and self confidence. The teachers have each taken their time with my daughters and made them feel special.

The attention that my girls get is so attentive that the teachers address problems before they can hurt their grades. Overall I would have to say that this is the best school that my children have attended and I know my oldest daughter will miss it. Read less

Livingston has some good teachers and then some not so good teachers. You have a good experience if you get a good teacher. Mrs. Crawford is a wonderful teacher! I would give anything for my other kids to get her. But I think that this school does not do enough for kids that are smart and do very well
... Read more in Math. Livingston has been around too long to not have a 'quest' type program for Math. Also, you need to watch the books that are in the library. Livingston has good and bad, just make sure you are involved with your own child. Read less

My oldest son is leaving Livingston this year. We have been very happy with the teachers that we have had. I feel that the principal and the teachers listen to the parents and take their suggestions seriously. However, I do not feel that the school utilizes parental support to it's maximum ability.

There is one teacher that stands out alone. She is the best teacher I have come across in along time. Mrs.George should be honored for her great works of wonder. She keeps in touch with the parent about their children every step of the way. She looks for ways to help them. And when that child needs that

Advanced Placement
