Sims Elementary is a great school in a rapidly changing county. My daughter has the best teachers (Mrs. Hedrick and Mrs Barnett ). We will be moving to a different county very soon, but as far as teachers and a school go - I could not be happier . As the county is changing parental involvement is changing
... Read more also . Parental involvement is not great , but if you want to be involved there is a great need for it . Some teachers do not even have any moms who want to be room moms . Some room moms are working with more than one class . I am very disappointed in what has happened to this county, but have to give Mrs. Hedrick and Mrs Barnett a lot of credit for sticking with it . My daughter attended kindergarden at Sims elementary this year. She had a great experience. She has hyperactivity and had trouble adjusting to pre-k programs. The teachers at sims are patient and loving. My daughter had a great year and did well academically.

This is my daughters first year at sims. She is in the 5th grade and has always gone to private schools. I think that sims is an excellent school. She is doing so well and loves the school. taking her out of private school was the best thing I could have done for her. The teachers are so wonderful

I am so far so impressed with this school. This is the first year here for my child. And the staff is so caring, not at all like a certain Newton County school. The staff welcomes parents and welcomes their help. They are so caring. They don't treat parents like their convicts. How refreshing! The teachers

My daughter attended Sims for the first grade and received better care, love and attention then she had at the 4 differnet private schools that we previously enrolled her. We could not find a school that measured up to our personal, acedemic and developmental standards. SIMS rose to the occasion and

We have decided to invest human capital resources into our school instead of a fiscal investment into a private school. Advanced Placement
