My children have attended Spencer for 4 years now. One is a junior and on a sophomore. I have found the teachers on the whole, are caring and attentive. They are willing to go the extra mile for a student. The administration is fantastic! From the office secratary to the principal to the guidence office.

I am currently a Junior at Spencer High School! Everybody tries to pull us down just because we are majority black school and on the southside of Columbus. I am one of the very few white kids that attend Spencer and love it! I have never had a problem due to my race or anything. These students and teachers

I was a student at Spencer High for 3 years. From the day I came to Spencer I did not like it. Many teachers were not teaching, giving work, or disciplining distracting students. I left Spencer this year and I am currently passing all classes and doing all work. My new school has less ditractions, the

* In 2007-2008 Georgia administered the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) in English language arts, math, science and social studies to students in grade 11. The GHSGT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Georgia. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
