I am so glad this page is here! My oldest just moved to middle school, blessing or curse? I don't know yet. However I do have a small child still at CES and I have to agree with most of the feedbacks so far. As far as not picking up your kid(s)up early, by state law you can pick you child up anytime

As a mother of two, both in CES, I have to say that I feel the school is doing a great job. My younger son is in speech. Last school year, he made amazing progress with his speech. I am so grateful for that. My older son has gotten in some trouble and he was disciplined appropriately. I have felt

My children have great grades. They seem to sincerely like this school and their teachers. I do wish they could have P.E. twice a week every week. The CAMP scheldules will take a little getting used to. I really don't have anything to compare CES to but CES works for us. Nancy Smith Read less

When reading these PLEASE keep in mind that there are over 600 children in this school and the negative feelings of 1 or 2 parents should not even be took into consideration. These are a group of parents that will be unhappy with any changes. As for the limited recess time, this is a state standard ( not a rule just randomly put in place by a new principal) if you are unhappy about this you need to go through the proper channels to have it changed. I feel that this school is lacking discipline.I am unsure where the problem lies but it is there. This is my childrens first year at CES and it may very well be their last. I dont feel that the childrens safety or personal concerns are a priority to the principal. My children have came home nearly every

However, I think that they just dont want to admit that there is a problem. My oldest child attended a different school system during her first two years and I never had the concerns that I have had this year. It seems that her learning process has slowed down as well. She is learning some of the same things as a second grader that she learned as a kindergartener in the previous school district. Read less

The CRCT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Georgia.
