Read what parents are saying about European Academy Of Early EducationMy daughter has been going here since she was 2 in the toddler class. She is now entering Kindergarten. I can not say enough positive things about our experience here over the past 3 years. My daughter LOVES going to school. She is excelling in reading, math, social skills and etiquette. My younger daughter will also be joining this year. Highly recommend this school. :)
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2023No one at this business is licensed. This is simply a private business. This is not a school. It is advertised as an academy for learning. The employee in charge has no certifications or license. Has never been a Principal elsewhere. Has no gifted expertise or licensure. There is tremendous turnover at this business. There are no benefits to the employees. No healthcare, no 401k, etc. Employees work here as they do not have a state license to teach at a typical school in the Florida School system. None of them have any “Gifted training or certification.” The reason there are no names, bio’s and education credentials on the website of this business is because the employees do not have a teaching license. Private institutions do not have the same requirements and rules. They set their own rules and are governed by themselves. The state has no control. If you put your child here know in advance they are not getting taught by licensed teachers. This is like a daycare with some instruction along with no mandates or requirements. The owner is a silent entrepreneur. Is rarely seen at the business. They live nearby in a mansion on the water. Beware!
Posted by a parent on 6/6/2023Moving to the area from Europe we were delighted to find this little gem and immediately signed up all of our four children. They enjoyed the amazing facility and friendly staff right up to the first grade. I will never forgive myself for not following my gut instinct as a mother and not getting them moved elsewhere after Kindergarten. I knew the first grade teacher was sarcastic and harsh, but I did not realize how hateful she was. They had to endure so much bullying from this teacher, they used to come home in tears. And the worst part is that this ‘school’ is actually not part of our FL educational establishment, it is just a private business so it is not even regulated and has no governing body, so there is no rules and no accountability. The teachers do not have valid certifications. Many people learned this the hard way when applying for Pine View and discovered that their child’s grades have been altered and seriously jeopardized the application process. If I had my time again I would have done my home work and learned about this school before I signed up. Very regrettable experience.
Posted by a parent on 5/20/2022Overall, an amazing experience and academically one of the best around.
Posted by a parent on 3/4/2018As a parent I find that this school has a leadership that is willing to listen and address shortcomings. Although, like most things in life this school is not for everyone, it does the best it can with the resources provided to it.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeen here since sixth grade and I’m in eighth now. Honestly, this school is pretty good. The principal is really well-spoken and polite. He enforces the pledge of allegiance every morning and never forgets it: A lot of the teachers assign busy work which isn’t great. I like how families are able to be involved in their child’s education. This school doesn’t really care all that much about a student’s mental health, as long as you get your work done. The counselors are nice, but they won’t do much. My learning experience has been good so far, but it’s mentally exhausting sometimes. Most teachers, actually care about their students and genuinely want them to learn.Student Review5mo ago - Venice Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started this school at the 5th-grade level a couple of months into the school year. I was a bit uneasy about her starting later due to us relocating. However, her teachers were very informative and supportive. Within the first quarter Aiyanna had caught up with the rest of her peers; nonetheless, it was due to the involvement, coaching, and patience of the teachers and myself working together. I appreciated them very much; especially her coming in not only as a new student but us as a family not knowing the differences in the curriculums based in her school district she was in prior to us moving to Sarasota county. The teachers actually care about the students' education and are always available when parents reach out or express concerns. They don't just say what parents want to hear and that is appreciated especially as a very involved parent in my child's education; this speaks volumes.Thank you for all that you do! I have a son starting Kindergarten this fall if we lived in the district I'd be sending him to Venice EL as well.Parent Review1y ago - Epiphany Cathedral School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad a very traumatic experience to say the least. Very sad to say the school is ran by a very incapable principal who does not know how to handle issues at the school and instead opts to expel students instead of addressing issues with the teachers. Not a safe environment for minorities due to the lack of support from teachers and the counselor who is very incompetent to be conservative. There are some good apples, few, but overall due to the lack of good leadership the students often pay the price and no change takes place.Parent Review2mo ago
