Read what parents are saying about Seacrest Christian SchoolWonderful VPK program. Caring and kind staff. My son loved going and learned so much. His Teacher was Ms Amy.
Posted by a parent on 6/6/2021Would do it again if I had another child going through VPK! I can't recommend this program enough! Amazing!
Posted by a parent on 7/30/2020My daughter who is 3 has been here since she was 5 months, and my now 9 month old twins have attended since they were 3 months. We have always had a good experience with the front desk, with the director, and with all of the teachers. When they have questions or need something, they always call. If I'm dropping off all 3 kids on a Monday, the director will come out and help me get everyone inside. My daughter was injured one day and we got a phone call immediately. My 3 year old has learned so much while she's been here! I cannot recommend Seacrest Christian Preschool enough!
Posted by a parent on 3/16/2020I love this school. My son loves going to school every day which is a blessing. In the past, my son has had a couple incidents like a fall on the play ground etc. and I was called immediately. I haven't had any experiences like the one written on 10/5/18. I don't feel like they are money hungry animals at all! lol That seems a little intense and unjust. My friends send all their small children to SCS and we've all had the same experiences. Lovely staff, lovely families, small community of children, faith based, not a stuffy private school environment.
Posted by a parent on 3/13/2019Well when I brought up the lack of communication to the school administrator and the fact that nobody called us when our daughter was injured with a bruise on her for head and a big bump, and the fact that nobody bothered to even call us when she was not picked up The normal time mind you we have never been late to pick her up always 15 minutes early, still no call was made, And I let her know that it was not OK to not receive the phone call and that the parents should be called whenever anything out of the ordinary happened I was excused and asked to take my daughter home and we were dismissed from the school, mind you we have already paid for the entire year supplies as well as first and l and I let her know that it was not OK to not receive the phone call and that the parents should be called whenever anything out of the ordinary happened I was excused and asked to take my daughter home and we were dismissed from the school, mind you we have already paid for the entire year supplies as well as over 400.00 registration fees. I would say the school has the potential of being a great school but my experience with it is horrible and the director is pompous and has huge chip on her shoulder, as well as could care less about my concerns or her staff’s actions. So I would say overall it was a horrible experience.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children went to this school and I loved it they had a great teacher her name was Mrs. Palumbo. My daughter was in her class for 1&2 and I was praying for my son to be in her class when he was done with kindergarten, When the school year came around he was in her class for 1st grade. He didn’t get to finish 1st grade because we moved, however I knew Mrs. Palumbo would have taught him very well. The confidence she taught my daughter my daughter is in the third grade she took the FSA for the first time and scored high on her FSA. Miss Palumbo she does not play but she is a good teacher.Parent Review1y ago - Plumosa School Of The Arts

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are many reasons I've seen that show this school doesn't care about the students safety and when you voice your concerns nothing is done about it, teachers are either stupid or don't care about anything other than getting paid, one of my kids kept getting back another student's school work back so who knows if my child even received accurate grades. They let the same parents pick up their children from school early EVERYDAY when we all told during an assembly that doing that is considered an absence and can get you kicked out of the school yet I've been seeing the same parents pick up their kids early daily since last year.Parent Review6mo ago - S. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children were at Spady for 8 years (PK3-5th grade). What I love most about this school is its culture and overall school philosophy. It is very unique for a public school. Montessori schools educate the total child and promote independence. The teachers all truly cared about my childrens's education and individual progress. I have often recommended parents to apply to Spady and will continue to do so.Parent Review1y ago - Crosspointe Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was good, however the classes are very small. This is a good thing while you are young, however I do advise a bigger middle school. 4th grade was my last year there and when I switched to a school that was bigger I almost was in shock. It was terrified and I wasn’t used to it at all. I moved to a very good school that helped me have an easy transition, but I think I would have freaked out if I came in for middle school and didn’t have 5th grade to get used to a bigger learning environment.Other Review4y ago - Trinity Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGulf Stream school is a warm and loving environment for our oldest child. She is in her first year there and truly begs to go to school every morning. She surprises us daily with how much and how quickly she is learning. Every single teacher knows her name and looks out for her wellbeing.Parent Review1y ago - Unity School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children attended Unity School from preschool through 8th grade. They began public high school taking AP and Honors sophomore level classes. They were truly a grade level ahead and were accepted to top 50 universities in the country. They were all athletes, artists, and musicians. Unity allowed them to be great at many different things, while keeping the academic rigor strong. There is nothing similar to their Lessons in Living program. The school was founded on this program in the 60's and it's actually the base and culture of the school. The teachers, parents, and students all live and practice the virtues daily. There's simply nothing like this - where academics, virtues, and the fine arts are equally valued.Parent Review1mo ago
