Read what parents are saying about Pope John Paul Ii High SchoolThis school has been amazing for my daughter! The administration and staff are beyond supportive-they ask how my daughter is doing, when they see me at the football games, or in the halls. The friends have all been so kind from all of the Boca Catholic schools, even though my daughter came from a Christian Private school (not a Catholic one). They have Praying parents on Tuesday mornings, and Rosary on Fridays. The sports have been so much fun, with healthy competition, and friends to make high school memories with. There are loads of clubs, and student-life. The guidance counselors are so helpful in choosing classes that look good on your transcripts, in order to help you get into the right colleges. All students use full-size iPads for learning, and for turning in their homework through Google-classroom. The security is top-notch-with a guard gate & a Boca Raton Police officer on the grounds. The admissions team acts like a family. We love it here so so much!
Posted by a parent on 10/4/2023Great school, teachers and leadership! Extremely happy that my son goes there.
Posted by a parent on 1/13/2022My time at this school was hell. Prior to this school I had strong marks and friends. Upon coming to this school I was bullied, I struggled in school. I will mention I was not from a local Catholic school, St. Jude, St/ John etc. I was new and everyone already had friends. Everyones experiences are diffrent but I could never endorse this place.
Posted by a community member on 8/13/2018I have a son at this school for 4 years now and it has been the perfect fit for him, he is happy and cannot see him anywhere else. The new principal there is a great asset to the school and community, that was really needed.
Posted by a parent on 1/8/2018The absolute worse school for any child. My daughter was a straight A student with confidence and lots of friends before we moved her to Saint John Paul. Had to pull her out as guidance all the way to the priests do not care about the kids. Teachers swear at kids and they promise financial aid and give nothing. A total scam and contradiciton to spirituality. Public is healtheir than this school

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is fine. Nothing much better in the area, besides private schools (some of which are arguably much worse). Teachers, depending on class level, subject, individual, are generally good. In my experience, my teachers have cared and know what they’re teaching. It’s fine like it’s normal. Lots of healthy academic competition. If you’re bad at school, this isn’t a good place for you. Not that your looked down upon, but your not at the “average” level of the students here. As most teens are, cliques exist but it’s not that deep. If you’re a kind, chill, not dumb person you should have a problem making friends. So many different types of people, you will find someone who fits you. Drugs are a problem, but it’s south florida. what do you expect? Like it’s a problem but it’s not the schools fault. Olympic has the worst drug issues. Private schools also have tons of drugs, it’s no different. This school teaches a lot about how to deal with people, stress, life overall. You are very prepped for college and how to be a good person. You learn life lessons and academic stuff. It’s a fine school. If your zoned for it, go.Student Review5mo ago - Calusa Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrinciple, staff and all the officials of this school are disrespectful, and would need a basic education on manners. They do not know what education is, and they are center focused, closed minded people. Please do not bring your child there - because children there do not study - Calusa doesn''t care about teaching our children. Calusa staff cares to fight with parents more than to do their primarily job and educate.Parent Review1y ago - St. Andrew's School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience in this school is absolutely horrid. The classrooms are tiny, sad, and the teachers don't aid to you. Please, don't fall for what this school advertises you because it all is fake. There is absolutely no student support, stay clear of this mess and waste of 40 thousand dollars. Don't send your kids here, or else you will end up seeing their faces full of sadness, and stress. The school is not meant to aid you, quit frankly the contrary; I have found in my years as an alumni in Pine Crest the school motivates you to do bad, and sets you up for failure.Student Review1y ago - Addison Academy
