My daughter and son both are students at Indian River Charter. They love school and are great students. It's the best kept secret in Vero. My children are getting a private school education w/ a public school price tag!!

My daughter is a junior at IRCHS and loves it! She had heard wonderful things about it before she started 3 yrs ago and only wanted to apply there. We have been most pleased by her challenging courses (honors classes as well as regular), and dual enrollment at IRSC. The entire staff is caring and hard
... Read more working. We find the principal and vice principal to be caring, wonderful at their jobs, good listeners, motivators and encouragers while also understanding. The policies are put in place for protection and betterment of the students. They raise the bar in the standards they present. I believe my daughter is very well prepared for college. There have been some students who at first cannot handle responsibility to get to class or do work and asked to leave, but the following year returned to be very productive students. Well worth the lesson learned. Kudos to IRCHS! Read less

... Read more worked so well for my girls. They are both exceptional students and have college scholarships. If the school did not work for your children, it is not the school's fault. The students who have parents who care and who work with the teachers and administration benefit from this type of education. When my youngest graduates in May, we will move...not before that time. I attend IRCHS and it is byfar the best school i have ever seen or heard of. We are the top high school in the county, and our VAPA curriculum is known world wide for its excellence and persistancy. Think about it, you take lunch breaks at work don t you? Then, why not at school? If you don t come back in time for work, you don t have a position at that establishment any longer. My son is a returning VAPA 10th grader. Any student would fit in. The teachers are very caring, and will go the extra mile to help. My son has learning disabilities and that is addressed as well with an iep and close contact with the teachers. If you want to have your son/daughter attend a great school

At any given time a basketball game or hackie sack game will be going on and as your student approaches the game he/she is invited to play. Everyone is accepted by everyone one big happy family. Parental involvement is counted on. Homebase is highly treasured by all students. Read more ways.It has a wonderful family feel and the kids aren't lost in the mass.As any newer school it has had some growing pains but always strive to do better.My daughter loves it there and works hard.The visual and performing arts dept are amazing.The school of golf is growing slowly but surely.Academically dual enrollment is offered and some kids really challenge themselves and work hard. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
