Cordova Park is top notch! The staff and parents work together to make the school's environment a happy and safe place for children and adults. Many people enter the school and within minutes state how lovely the environment is. Children are respectful, hold doors open for others, and are polite. ...  Read more

I have to agree with the parent who complained about the lack of communication. The staff only talk to the parents they want to talk to. I was new to the area and came halfway thru the school year and tried to volunteer but was told each time that the volunteers were already chosen not a very welcoming ...  Read more

This is an amazing school with an amazing staff. The parents give a lot of time and energy. This is what makes this school an 'A'. By the way, the principal has worked at a failing school (Montclair) and turned it completely around.

I have two students at CP. The teachers, Principle, special area teachers, and entire staff, all the way down to the custodians, are top-notch. The PTA has one of the best histories in the entire country. The volunteers are always in abundance. If anyone has a problem with CP they should take a look ...  Read more

I have taken my children out of this school and am so happy I did. The school has major communication problems and a principal who does not go out of her way to meet/greet new parents. Being an 'A' school in this town is more about paperwork and politics than it is about the love of learning for the ...  Read more

I currently have two children attending Cordova Park, one in fifth grade and one in kindergarten. The fifth grader attended Scenic Heights K-3rd grade, when we moved into the Cordova Park district. His Fourth grade teacher was wonderful, and so far he loves his Fifth grade teacher just as well. I cannot ...  Read more

I have been a teacher at Cordova Park for many years..I have seen many changes but the teachers have never lost their love for the students or dedication to their profession. The federal and state government mandates have been overwhelming at times, because they do not give the schools the money or time ...  Read more
