My child has been a part of Palmetto Christian School for two years. He loves the inviting atmosphere of the school and he enjoys his teachers. My child is definately not at the top of his class, but has excelled tremendously at this school. The teachers are very willing to work with him and care

I feel that he gets a great education here, but more than that, he learns to care for people and most importantly he is encouraged to have a personal relationship with God. There isn't anyone saying he can't talk about God. Without God, we have nothing. I love that my children are afforded the opportunity to be in this environment. Read less

We feel very blessed to have found Palmetto Christian School. I have found the staff and leadership to be above average. Even though this is a Church sponsored school, the Bible classes are taught from Gods holy word and not a religious agenda or specific denomination . This school reminds me of the
... Read more way public schools were taught years ago. Values, morales, common sense and accountablity are found in the class room and mirrored by the staff. Each child is challanged to acheive and to encourgae one another. I love our school and invite anyone who would like more for their childs education to give Palmetto a tour and in response to the 2004 post tution is affordable. Unfortunaltly, public schools in Florida could never compare to the excellents found here... Excellent school! The level of academics is extremly high. The student to teacher ratio is great. Our kids love the school and are excelling academically and socially.

The school accepts all students that apply no matter what the prior circumstances of the student were i.e. discipline problem at public school, violent, mean spirited, etc. The educational level from K to 3rd grade is great; however, it seems to go back a grade when the children reach 4th grade -stays
... Read more at that level in 5th grade - then many students are not prepared for the 6th grate. The school seems to have the teachers teaching the wrong grades. The school lunches are a joke in cost, quantity and quality - you would be better of sending a lunch with your child. Expect the tuition to increase from $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 each year. Overall - the school was a disappointment. Taking my kids out and putting them in public school was a good choice. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
