School facilities are great, the available programs and electives very broad. Athletics represented well. Teacher quality is hit or miss. Have witnessed honors level teachers with very poor competency. About half seemed motivated to teach. Communication is still the weakest link in a public school environment, ...  Read more

I'm currently a student in the IB program. I recommend it to all students because the teachers really care. The students also care about their peers which I find helpful.

My son is starting the 10th grade at PHUHS in the IB program. We are both thrilled with the school. The instructors provide a challenge, yet are very caring and interested in helping the kids succeed. The school atmosphere is wonderful. He has made many friends and gotten involved in swim team, chorus ...  Read more

We have two students at this school and we are generally pleased with their level of education. The majority of the teachers are on the ball but some don't provide even minimal feedback unless prompted by the administration. The sports programs in the school, like all schools these days are severely ...  Read more

parents dont uderstand. the school is ful of cliques and is more consumed in how they look instead of how they are doing in school. i transferred to dunedin high after my first year at phu.dunedin is a very friendly schoool where students strive for excellence.

Palm Harbor was one of the worst schools I attended. The administration is a joke and the principle has no idea what he is doing. All the parents that write review have no clue what they are talking about because they never attended. If you are not in IB the teachers hold you to those standards. Which ...  Read more

We have been very happy with this school. The administration and faculty have been wonderful, supportive, and involved in helping our daughter and her peers with their many activities. The staff works long hours, evenings, and weekends to accommodate the students' needs, and ask for no thanks. The ...  Read more

I graduated a few years back, Great school, administration is not the brightest bunch of people, teachers are awesome and fun and don't hesitate to help students. Mr. Steve Johnson (Tech Studies and Drafting) is amazing, best teacher I ever had (if you had him or know someone that did you know). I ...  Read more
