This school is great but many people get bad reports on it from parents that have no idea. Some students go home and complain so thier parents would take them out. We were so grateful for Workforce Advantage Academy. Regular public school did not work for my son and this was a great place. He was able to get a job while attending school at the same time. We were impressed with the staff and how helpful they were.

Sending my child to Workforce Advantage Academy was a mistake. They do not help find jobs for their students, nor do they take the time to evaluate their students desires and needs. First of all workforce only allows 11th and 12th graders that have had some trouble but would like to improve. We are just like any other high school but with less students; smaller classes allow the teachers to be more hands on to help us with our work. This school has it's place. My son is very smart but very lazy. This school helped him to focus on his future and his work ability. * In 2008-2009 Florida used the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 8 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 11 in science. The FCAT Writing results are displayed separately on GreatSchools profiles. The FCAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Florida. The FCAT has 5 achievement levels, with level 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. Florida considers scores of level 3 and higher to be on or above grade level. The goal is for all students to score at or above level 3.
