If your child is planning on attending Harvard or Yale, this is the school for him or her. My child did not exactly relish the idea of FIVE hours of homework at night and since he has been in public school, he went from F's at OLA to A's and B's at his new school. There is a sense of aloofness in the

This school is horrible. The teatchers are a bunch of grade gifters and the student help days are usless. I do not recomend this school to anybody.

I believe OLA is doing a good job with what they have. The extracurricular activities are limited but on the good side of that, several students I know found they loved and were good at a sport that wouldn't have been able to experience in larger school. The academics are good and not a lot of homework

They have security cameras in all the hallways and most of the students have respect for others. I do wish OLA had more choices for classes and extracurricular activities but it is a small school and if your child does well in that environment then OLA is great. My child is very happy at OLA. OLA has come a long way but they still have much work to do. The teachers need to stop playing favorites and really get to every child's learning level and not just toss them to the side.

My child has been in both public and private schools in Florida as well as in other states, and I have to say OLA has proven hands down to be the worst. With the exception of a few select teachers, no real learning takes place. Security is lacking to the point of being almost absent. Bullying, name

I have been very pleased with the school overall. The teachers know each of their students and take in interest the student's success. There is no 'Grade gifting' here as in public school. Perhaps that parent was upset that their child did not do as well as some of the other students. The statistics

I am happy with the level of discipline but our experience with motivating our child to improve academicly has been poor. Music, sports and extracurricular activities need to improve as well. Overall, it has been OK.

I was very happy with the level of education I recieved. The teachers were always willing to spend time with their students and review difficult concepts. I only wish there would have been more variety of classes and extracurricular activites.

I was stunned by the good review I read. It really doesn't fit our experience. Many teachers 'gift' grades and perhaps this parent was thrilled that their child is suddenly an A student. Motivated students? The only ones I knew of moved to other schools for 2004-2005. My advice -- spend a few more
