The sports program is truly top notch, the parents are not just involved, but wholeheartedly engaged in furthering the academic, social and spiritual growth of our children. The middle school is incredible. Our children have experienced these always difficult years surrounded by friends, families, faculty and staff who work together to ease the tensions these years create and prepare our teenagers for high school. ... Read more elementary math team came in 2nd in their competitons and the outstanding academics are evident in the success of our graduates. This year's valedictorian and salutorian from Boone High School were 2004 TCS graduates; two of Edgewater's top 10 graduates were also 2004 TCS graduates. To top it off, it is a nurturing, Christ-centered environment, and my child is getting the best of all worlds in my humble opinion. It is one of downtown Orlando's best kept secrets, which is a shame, because it deserves accolades for its achievements academically, athletically and artistically. Read less

This school is absolutely the top private school for elementary/middle in Orlando. There are approx. 15 students in K5~2nd grade and then it bumps up to 20 students per grade through 5th. A fact not known is that a Teacher's Assistant is part of the staff for each of the school grades to allow the
... Read more great teachers here to focus on teaching and much of ancilliary duties being handled by the assistant. Unlike local public schools who focus on teaching the FCAT, here at TCS the fundamentals are addressed. Students are amongst peers of equal level vice public schools who have weaker students pulling from the strong. And, stronger students left in the corner reading, whilst the weaker students having the teachers undivided attention to bring up their numbers for the FCAT. TCS uses SRA's to track ability along with skill level reinforcement's and Yearly Progress via Stanford Achievment Test (SAT/10). Read less

We feel that paying for private education should give children access to less than 18-20 students in a class, and having 22 students per class is unacceptable. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
