Westport is not a good school, They do not help the children or think of them first. The only children they think about are the ones that dont need extra help. Someone really need to look at the big picture because the ones that need more help they dont get it. They wait untill the end of the year to ...  Read more

Westport is more then just a meccs school. My daughter goes there and takes reading and is doing good. She loves her teachers and all the extra help they give her. She goes in early for extra help and the teachers are there for her. Its beautiful too.

This school is very good. It has a lot to offer a student who is into the arts. I just happen to live in the zoning area for it and then my child benefits from that by being in the MCCA program. The staff has its good and bad points. There are great teachers and one of them is the band director. ...  Read more

The MECCA program is great. That is about the only thing. The staff and administrative is a poor excuse and possibly the rudest people I have ever encountered. I had to come get my daughter 5 times because the fact that her jeans had rips in them. They need to be not so worried about petty things. ...  Read more

Its a great school. Sure ppl say tht ohh the kids are bad, but if you relle look at it, its the students responsiblitly whetther they stand out or not. The teachers do thier best, some students dont want to excel in life, well let that be there problem. this school has a great MCCA program.

I am not pleased with this school at all. From their administration to their office staff (who, by the way, are the rudest people I have ever encountered in the way of office staff.) West Port's choice in teachers is of poor choice. To be fair, there are a few teachers there that show great quality. ...  Read more

West Port has an Excellent Principal and Adminstrative team. Jayne Ellspermann has did wonders to bringing that school to back up to its prime of leading the state in raising student performance
