This school caters to all level of students. The ones at the high end of the academic spectrum would have been accepted at any other local private school. There are also students that learn at a slower pace. Everyone is not only tolerated but celebrated for who they are. This is a great school. Read less

My daughter stated this year and she has done extremely well. Her teachers are very encouraging andare helping excel in her academics. I would just like to have spiritual retreats for the freshman class.

The School needs to focus more on the college path of the students since their early years and even more the last years. They don't seem to motivate students to go to high ranked universities. The counseling system doesnt seem to be good enough.

I think this school has potential to become a great school. The fact that I have students that failed Coral Park and Archbishop Carrol sitting next to me in my class is a disgrace. Currently I see that most of our students highly lack discipline. And when you have students like that it effects your school

Referring to the below one star rating, I took AP classes and passed all my tests with flying colors. They prepared me very well for them. I also took honors classes that allowed you to get college credits. Many of the students that went there attained bachelor's way sooner than most due to the opportunity
... Read more for credits St Brendan gave them. I learned a lot and was very prepared for college, especially my writing skills. None of my papers were only five paragraph essays. The teachers I had were great. It might not have as many activities as a public school, but what private school does. It offered enough activities, it did not need anymore. I would recommend this school to anyone. Read less

I know for a fact that almost all the students who took AP exams last year, passed! As far as low quality students, St Brendan does a proper job of having a number of levels and programs for students who may not do as well academically as their peers - I do not think that because you are not as gifted

Read more academically as the rest that you should be denied a Catholic education - they should be commended for being one of the only Catholic High schools (if not the only) in Miami for having a program dedicated to students with learning disabilties. As far as writing - term papers are far from a 5 paragraph essay....And, the counselors do a fine job of informing students about colleges, scholarships, etc.. it is simply what the students chooses to do with that information!!!! Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
