This school has been awesome for me! I'm in 8th grade here and I love it~ I have alot of great new friends, and I think I fit in better here then at other schools. Everyone here is nice and I love it. The teachers are all cool and awesome and I have better grades then I ever have before.

I am a senior here at Edgewood and this has been the best experience of my life. The academic program is excellent. The performing arts teacher and program is fun and enjoyable! I have fun and have learned so much more and value every day I'm attending this school.

This will be my childs second yr at edgewood even though the work load is alot ..The way this school makes her feel as a student is wonderful...I can't wait for my other 2 children to be a part of this school....

I go to this school and I my self has found a great improvements in my grades. The teachers will sit you down and help you with what ever you are having trouble with. It is truly a great school. Sure edgewood might be a good school but it is too sheltered and all most of the staff cares about is fcat grades and high achievement the students need to be exsposed and have things such as good sports and not pressured so hard...

Lots of plus and minuses with Edgewood. First some plusses - very good academics with alot of emphasis on college prep and AP courses. Edgewood alows for development of originality, self esteem and self expression. There is hardly any social status in the highschool. * In 2008-2009 Florida used the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 8 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 11 in science.
