My overall opinion of the principal is that she is not totally involved in the activities of the school, but delegates this responsibility to para-professional staff. I never received timely notification relating to school activities, meetings, picture days, etc. (well if you count 2 days with a note sent home via the child's back pack). I believe there could be action taken to improve the management of the school and boost parent involvement. Also the school district does not provide adequate assistance for classroom aides for special needs children without a battle. State mandates are not freely given. Budget is not always the problem, overall care and concern should be given to educating Florida's young children. Read less
