Great school! Brand new 47 million dollar campus with a great principal and good teaachers who care. The school is moving in the right direction on the way to greatness.

Many of the students are there for a free ride and as a result make it difficult for the good teachers to teach, and inhibits the learning for those that do want to learn. Students are not ready for college.

a child can easily succeed in marathon...Its a great school! True there not many variety in there programs...but compare with other schools and marathon seems to be the best in the world...i really hope to go bck my current school is 200 times worse than marathon!

the music program is in shambles first of all. This school is extremely hard to work with also and is uncooperative. The staff has an extremely high turnover rate, with all administrators being replaced this year, and a new band director coming in every year. The discipline problems in this school are profound given the size of the school. It is an aging campus that desperately needs to be rebuilt. There are very limited vocational programs. * In 2008-2009 Florida used the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 8 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 11 in science.
