12 Parent Reviews for Lake Butler Middle School

This school has excellent teachers and some very good students. Some of the students are just bad eggs and are trying to start fights with my kids but altogether this is a very well put together school.

The school has some amazing teachers and some apathetic teachers. The highs are teaching staff, technology and community involvement. The lows are the administration, social cliques, and being a financially poor county.

This is my first year with LB school system, so far the staff is very willing to help. The counselors are great at both the MS and ES. The Technology is great comparted to Bradford County!

The technology available at LBMS is very impressive given the fact that we are in a largely low-income area. Most of the teachers are interested in their students, and the school appears to encourage teachers to try out new styles of teaching. Several of the teachers are very involved in extra-curricular ...  Read more

The administration and faculty at Lake Butler seem to take great pride in trying to provide a great education in a financially strapped school system. Some of the more recent additions to the faculty have added a lot of innovation to the teaching staff. My child particulary likes the learning opportunities ...  Read more

I do think if the school would get another principal its score would go up to an A+ instead of a B. However there are a hand full of teachers that I feel like want to help the kids, the others are there for a paycheck only! I really hope that my children's Middle School years go by really fast.

I am not impressed with some of the teachers but talking to administration does not help unless it's mr. Faulk. The parent involvement is ...  Read more

I have never had a problem with any of the administration at the school. There is, like any school, typical teenagers, but, if there is bulling usually going to the school & speaking to Mr. Bracewell (the principal) will take care of the problem. Parental involvement is AWESOME! The teachers (most of ...  Read more

This school needs new administration. Will tell a parent what they want to hear just to get the parent out of their office. Expect to need to contact superintendent.

My wife & I attended pre-k, elementary, middle, & high school in Lake Butler. We have two girls ages 11 & 15; The small town atmosphere is great for a family. The school administrators are a wonderful group of individuals. I think the rapport is awesome, very spirited, & supportive. Class sizes aren't ...  Read more
