17 Parent Reviews for Keystone Heights Junior Senior High School

My daughter just completed the 7th grade and the difference between KHES and Jr High is very notable. When in elementary you knew what was going on and I felt that during this entire year we were in the dark. The Jr High needs to provide some type of syllabus of each class so the parents know what ...  Read more

This school strives to help all their students achieve their individual goals. Not all students want to go to college but Keystone tries to prepare all of their students for whatever they plan to do.

This school is doing the best it can at keeping up with state mandates and yearly changes. Faculty and administration keep their focus on student achievement. They also have a strict dress code: no shorts or skirts shorter than the top of the knee. No place is perfect, but I feel safer about my child ...  Read more

I was a great student, but I don't think I was popular enough for the administration because when college time came around it seemed like I was having to get recommendations elsewhere.

I went to KHHS a few years ago and I pretty much hated it. It's hard for a new kid there...I came in in the 7th grade while everyone had grew up together and made there little groups up. Keystone Heights Jr/Sr High School is the greatest, the teachers are teachers, not baby sitters. They prepare the students for college. I have two children at Keystone Heights Jr/Sr High School, and they both love it there. Keystone Heights Band Program falls short for musical equipment when compared ...  Read more

School doesn't care about students. Teaches for tests, most children who attend this school do not go on to a major college, they are lucky to get into a community college.

While this school strives to be the best academically, if your child does not fit in, or is a 'square peg' so to speak, he or she will be miserable. There is no diversity at KHHS.

Keystone is one of the best schools in the state. If you want to feel secure and have a great time and get a great education then you need to go to this school! I absolutely love Keystone. They have a wonderful colorguard and band program. (I'm in colorguard so I know what I'm talking about!) The dress ...  Read more

As a student moving from Colorado, my idea of school was greatly altered by coming here. Overall, the school is one of the best in the area, but simply can't compare to other schools. Teachers and administrators are lax with those whose parents they know or who play a certain sport, and can be less ...  Read more
