I'm a junior about to be a senior and i've been at Sandalwood since freshman year and i LOVE it! The school has a wonderful staff of administration and teachers, most will stick with any and all students to keep them on track with grades, attendance and discipline.

I have been very happy with my child's teachers, he loves them to death, they are very supportive and helpful. However, the administration at this particular school seems to be clueless. Its like the left foot doesn't talk to the right. It is extremely hard to get a straight answer out of anyone unless ...  Read more

Administration perpetuates most of their own problems through uninformed decisions and a sheer lack of common sense throughout the dicipline process

My child is involved in the AVID community and is very happy at Sandalwood. It is a large school, but the small learning communities help keep the kids in classes with students they know. The teachers are active and involved and keep good communication through letters and their personal websites. ...  Read more

I'm a student at Sandalwood High and I have been going for three years now. Despite Sandalwood's previous record, Sandalwood is not a bad school. Sandlewood is not a bad school... There are how ever way too many people there.. walking through the hall way is the same as if your walking on glass.... your taking small steps at a time... i think including the lockers and how far apart classes are.. the should raise it an extra 3 minutes between classes

As a Sandalwood teacher, I just want to confirm your thinking - Sandalwood is an awesome school!! The greatest kids, kids who choose to get along and accept help when they cannot, parents who support me and my students, and a determined vision of excellence for each student.

Sandalwood is not bad at all, I agree... As long as you as a parent are teaching your children who to hang around with and keep them focused on school work, all will go well. Just as with any school. My son loves it and he makes comments about how so and so helped him in class...it is wonderful seeing ...  Read more
