Both of my children have attended San Jose and I have no complaints. My daughter has learned basic spanish in her extended day program and my son is in the gifted classes. I was very disappointed w/this school. I enrolled my kids in this school b/c of the Magnet Program. My children had several incidents of violent acts toward them. My daughter is in the 5th grade, and this is her second year here. We love this school! Her two teachers are very warm, and caring. It's true that this is a only a 'C' school, but that is only because of the children who speak little if any English when they first get here.

The school is a 'C' rated school but my children (Kindergarten & 3rd grade) are receiving an excellent education at the school.
