I have one child attending FCCS. My daughter changed from bashful to a confident child. She was exposed to join some competittions at a young age. She was disciplined by her teacher and was motivated to read lots of books and study well. Her teacher is strict with discipline but still shows her love
... Read more and care for my child and other kids. I've seen and witness it how great the teachers are and has a godly manners. I like their style of education- balancing academics, sports and music. Though, my child is not atletic, I have no against it, I still like their system, environment and the friendliness of their staffs. I strongly recommended FCCS. Believe me, you will never regret sending your child at FCCS unless, you don't want your child to be disciplined, God fearing and be responsible at an early age. I rated FCCS with an 8 stars. First Coast has a great curriculum, but a few of the teachers don't really teach. They're forceful in their opinions and the administration thinks everything is a joke.

I have two children that have attended FCCS; one since K-3 and the other since K-5. One has graduated (Awarded Bright Futures Scholarship), the other is in high school. Throughout the years we have had both good and bad experiences. The administration has always been receptive to resolving issues, and

While all coaches want to win, the focus is most certainly on sportsmanship and Christian attitude rather than 'winning.' True, over the last couple of years, there has been a high turnover of teachers. Unfortunately, some excellent teachers have left FCCS, but for better opportunities, as it is difficult for private schools to have a salary and benefit structure that rivals publically funded schools. I highly recommend FCCS. Read less

After reading all the reviews, I felt I needed to describe my opinion and experiences. I have my 3 children attending the school. I have to say that the elementary program is excellent! Not only for the academic program, the other activities and spiritual foundation and Christian environment that
... Read more is always present is commendable. In comparing with my neighbors experiences in their kids' public education, this schools' program and costs are worth it. I have to agree that the discipline system needs to be revised. Although I prefer the discipline aspect to be firm compared to public schools, some teachers do abuse the system. Regarding the Jr. High and High School academic program, I have to say that the statistics show a very good rate of graduating students receive scholarships and continue into college. So far, my oldest is doing well. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone! Thanks. Read less

The lower school is fantastic and the teachers are wonderful. However, the high school leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend any parent to send their child to the school if they are going into high school. The high school teachers are underpaid and it shows; with the exception of a few, they

Contrary to what most of the former reviews have stated, First Coast Christian is an excellent school and has helped me become successful as a college student academically, spiritually and emotionally. I attended First Coast for four years, and I am a better person now than I was before I first came

Because my teachers loved me enough to help me strive to do my best, I was able to take college couses while still in high school and was also the president of my senior class. I was an active member of the Beta Club, National Honor society, and varsity volleyball team. I graduated with honors and I know who I am as an individual because of this school! Read less

Overall this school leaves much to be desired it is not the wonderful school they would like you to believe.
